The Granary is a picture perfect newly built cottage, that has been beautifully designed and appointed to provide both luxury and comfort. Step into the spacious two storey cottage, more like a barn conversion in size and you will instantly feel the level of detail, quality and thought that has gone into creating this perfect country retreat.

The living accommodation is upstairs, open plan and affords lovely views across the countryside. Picture a log burning stove in the stone fireplace, being surrounded by beams and oak, a glorious shaker cream kitchen, lush soft furnishings and you are here – relaxed and ready for your Ribble Valley adventure. The Granary sleeps eight in sublime comfort and your every need for a carefree holiday has been considered.

Fellside Cottage

SLEEPS 6

Fellside Cottage adjoins the Granary in perfect harmony, the only difference is it is slightly smaller and sleeps six. The warm stone exterior gives way to soft cream tones and a gentle decor within. Beautifully appointed bathrooms and kitchens have been lovingly chosen to be harmonious and practical, with state of the art appliances and high end finishes throughout.

A large open plan lounge with solid wood burner awaits upstairs and there is a perfect large dining table to gather round and celebrate with family or friends. Open the patio doors and step onto the terrace to catch the views and light the bbq.

					  We attended a family wedding at the Out Barn and found the Ribble Valley Country Cottages by recommendation. What a lovely place to stay, Deborah is a great host. The... read more Granary is a luxury cottage finished to a very high standard with great facilities. From the time we arrived we were made to feel at home. There was milk, eggs, butter, bread, cereal, fruit etc.... The kitchen is full equipped with lots of crockery.

The Granary has the bedrooms on the ground floor two with large en- suites including large roll top baths. The family bathroom is well fitted and includes a large shower. There was a highchair and two stair gates available for the top and bottom of the stairs. 

The first floor is open plan. The large lounge is one side with 3 sofas and an armchair. A large fireplace with a wood burner, logs and fire lighters supplied. A smart TV and DVD player with a selection of films in the draw. The garden is accessible from this floor as the Granary is set into the bank. There is a front door with a hall and toilet with a drink chiller. The kitchen / Dining area is at the other end of the cottage on the first floor and offers ample seating, we had 11 around it one evening. Parking for a maximum of 3 cars at the front and side of the Granary. We as family can’t say enough good things about the property and Deborah the host. Thank you.

					  We booked The Granary to spend New Year with our family and it was amazing. The cottage was beautifully furnished and decorated and was well equipped with every detail thought... read more of; especially the fridge stocked with all breakfast essentials. Deborah and her family made us very welcome and were on hand to recommend places to eat and visit.

We have never stayed in this area before but we definitely were not disappointed as lots of pretty villages and countryside to enjoy. A hidden gem.

The picturesque village of Waddington is a stones throw away from our Ribble Valley holiday cottages and boasts some of the finest gastro pubs in the area. Visit historic Clitheroe with its Norman Castle and independent shops and eateries, only two miles away and equally fascinating Whalley Abbey only four miles away. Find peace and tranquility amongst the valleys and hills as favoured by the Queen herself!
